The Mayodan Water Treatment Plant provides clean drinking water for the Town of Mayodan and surrounding areas. The plant is run by a Water Plant Superintendent and his team.
Water Treatment Plant team respond to complaints about water quality and oversee the collection and analysis of distribution system samples to monitor the overall water quality system. The Water Plant operates its own laboratory that is certified by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and perform annual testing to ensure water quality parameters are accomplished in addition to collecting samples to submit to contract laboratories for testing.
