TOWN OF MAYODAN FEES

ADMINISTRATIVE FEES EFFECTIVE, 2021

Fees is this category include animal control fees, copy fees, municipal cemetery plot purchases, planning and zoning permit fees, and other miscellaneous fees.

PUBLIC UTILITY FEES EFFECTIVE, 2021

Public Utility fees include solid waste, recycling and bulk item pick-up fees, water and sewer tap installation, water and sewer usage rates, curb-cuts, and other miscellaneous utility fees. Solid waste charges are added to the water/sewer utility bill. For most customers utilities are billed bi-monthly (Feb., April, June, Aug., Oct., Dec.) and are due by 10th of Following Month (Jan., Mar., May, July, Sep., Nov.). A 10% late fee is automatically added to any balances not paid before 8 a.m. on the 11th. If a service is disconnected due to non-payment an additional $35 administrative fee is applied to the account.

Residential solid waste is collected every Tuesday. Recycling is every other week on Wednesdays. Commercial collection is on Tuesdays and Fridays every week, recycling is on the same schedule as residential recycling. Refer to the calendar for dates.

MAYODAN TOWN PARKS FEE SCHEDULE, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2021

The Town of Mayodan contracts with the Madison-Mayodan Recreation Center to manage reservations for Farris Memorial Park and Elliott Duncan Park. Park facilities may be rented by the half or whole day.
