The Public Works Department is a team of highly skilled professionals trained to keep Mayodan's infrastructure functioning efficiently and effectively. The Public Works team maintain, repair, and replace the various infrastructure systems in the Town including water lines, sewer lines, streets, parking, and public buildings. The Public Works Department consists of the following divisions: water, sewer, sanitation, streets, and public buildings. Additionally, the Public Works Director oversees the contractors at the Mayodan Sewer Plant.
