On Monday, October 30th, the Town of Mayodan's contractor will replace the sewer line in the right of way of 505 N 5th Avenue and 510 N 4th Avenue. This work will affect residents at 505 N. 5th Avenue and 510 N. 4th Avenue.
Work will begin with the removal of marked trees in the right of way. No interruptions should occur during the removal of the trees. The next step is replacing the main sewer line. Each home will be reattached as the work is completed. During this step, sewer service will be stopped to the home until reconnection to the main sewer line is complete. Notification will be given to each homeowner before this work begins. After the sewer line replacement is finished, the work area will be seeded and strawed. Please do not park vehicles on the street after 7AM.
