Water & Sewer Services
Establishing Water & Sewer Services in Mayodan
Residents and businesses must apply in person to establish water, sewer, and solid waste services with the Town of Mayodan. Applications are accepted at Town Hall, 210 West Main Street during the following hours:
- Monday – Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
To guarantee same-day service, applications must be submitted by 3:00 PM.
How to Apply
- Complete a Mayodan Utility Services Agreement – This form must be filled out and signed.
- Provide a valid photo ID – Acceptable forms include driver’s license, state-issued ID, school ID, or employee ID.
- Be in good standing – Customers must not owe money on any other Mayodan utility accounts.
Renters
- A $150 deposit (cash, check, or money order) is required.
- Proof of a valid rental agreement must be provided before service can begin.
- Renters must also not owe any balance on other Town utility accounts.
Deposits for High-Risk Accounts
Customers identified as “high risk” (whether owners or renters) may be required to pay a higher deposit as determined by the Town.

- Credit/debit card
- Automated bank draft (requires submission of the Automated Bank Draft Form and a voided check)
